Hello everyone,
I wanted to share a little kitchen trick I often use to keep my herbs (parsley, cilantro, chives, etc.) fresh longer.
👉 Instead of simply leaving them in the refrigerator where they quickly wilt, I treat them like flowers:
Slightly trim the stems.
Place them in a glass of water.
Cover the whole thing with a plastic bag (loosely).
Place the glass in the refrigerator.
This way, the herbs stay fresh for several days, sometimes even a whole week. It's very practical for avoiding waste and always having herbs ready to use in your dishes.
Do any of you use other methods for preserving fresh herbs? I'd be curious to hear your tips!
Have a nice day, everyone
